The Tibetians believe the prayers & mantras on these flags will be blown by the wind to spread good will and compassion to all.

When hanging these flags, do so with the intentions that all will benefit from the inscribed mantras, not self-serving wishes.

Special care must be taken with these flags to make sure they do not touch the floor or ground.

When they become old and worn and you wish to dispose of them, they must be burnt so that the smoke carries the blessings into the sky.
